INGREDIENTS
5 c. chopped cauliflower florets
2 Eggs
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
salt and pepper to taste
vegetable oil for frying
How to make Basic Cauliflower Fritters
Step 1: Into the food processor, put the cauliflower and process until finely minced.
Step 2: Into a large mixing bowl, transfer the cauliflower. Add in the remaining ingredients (eggs, flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper) except the vegetable oil. Mix well until you have a nice, paste-like mixture. Add more flour if the mixture ends up too soft and moist.
Step 3: Form a small, 1/3” thick patties with an ice cream scoop. Or make smaller patties or larger as you desired.
Step 4: In a little amount of vegetable oil, fry the patties for about 2 minutes on each side over medium heat.
Step 5: Enjoy the fritters with sour cream or your preferred sauce.
