Ingredients:
8 c Chex cereal (rice Chex, corn Chex, or a combination)
2 c powdered sugar
1 1/2 c semisweet chocolate chips
3/4 c creamy peanut butter
4 tbsp salted butter, or add a pinch of salt if using unsalted butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
Add the cereals into a large mixing bowl.
Add 1 cup of sugar inside a resealable bag and 1 cup in the other.
Place a saucepan on the stove, then add the butter, chocolate chips, and peanut butter.
Turn the heat to medium-low and allow the mixture to become hot. Make sure to stir until well blended.
Remove the pan immediately, then add vanilla extract and stir until well blended.
Pour the mixture over the cereals and toss until well coated.
Leave the coated cereals at room temperature to cool completely.
Fill each resealable bag with the coated cereals. Seal the bag and shake until the cereals are well coated with sugar.
Serve and enjoy!
