Ingredients:
1/4 c butter, divided
12 oz broccoli, coarsely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 c heavy whipping cream
1 1/2 c shredded mozzarella, divided
1/2 c grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper
3 c cooked chopped chicken (about 1 1/4 pound)
Directions:
Place a 10-inch oven-safe skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add 2 tbsp of butter and allow it to melt.
Add the broccoli and saute until soft.
Remove the broccoli from the skillet into a mixing bowl.
In the same skillet, add the rest of the butter and allow it to melt.
Add the garlic and saute until aromatic.
Add the cream and stir until well mixed. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
Add the Parmesan cheese and 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese. Stir until well mixed and melted completely. Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste.
Put the broccoli back to the skillet as well as the chicken and the rest of the mozzarella cheese. Stir until well mixed.
Prepare the broiler and preheat.
Place the skillet inside the broiler and broil for about 5 minutes or until the cheese turns brown.
Remove from the broiler and allow it to cool for a few minutes at room temperature.
Serve and enjoy!
