This Chicken Crunch Casserole is comforting food at its finest! Creamy, crunchy, insanely delicious, and incredibly easy and quick to make. This casserole is my personal favorite. The creamy noodle bake is topped with crunchy fried onion topping which is to die for! Preparation is also not an issue. All you need is to combine, stir, and bake. This casserole would be your perfect buddy, especially on busy days. This takes less than thirty minutes to cook. This is also one of the best recipes to use leftover chicken. The ingredients required to make this casserole are easy to find. Just a couple of pantry staples, and you’ll be able to whip this casserole up. I am sure that you’ll love the contrast of flavors and textures of this casserole.

1 (10.5 ounces) can cream of chicken soup
2 c. chicken, cooked and shredded
1 c. sour cream
8 ounces egg noodles
1 tsp garlic powder
1 ½ c. French fried onions
1 c. cheddar cheese, grated and divided
How to make Creamy Chicken Crunch Casserole
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F. Using a nonstick spray, grease a 10-inch square baking dish.
Step 2: Following the package directions, cook the noodles. Drain the noodles when done and transfer them to a large bowl.
Step 3: To the bowl with the noodles, add the chicken along with the sour cream, soup, garlic powder, and cheese. Stir well.
Step 4: Into the prepared baking dish, transfer the noodle mixture. Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 25 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
Step 5: Take the casserole out of the oven and top it with fried onions. Then, resume baking for another 5 to 10 minutes until browned.
Step 6: Remove from the oven when done and allow the casserole to cool for about 5 minutes.
Step 7: Serve and enjoy!
