This was by far the most sinful dish I have ever tried this week! It is sinful but so worth it! Give this recipe a try now and prepare to be amazed! Ingredients:
1 pound Boneless skinless chicken breast cut into 4 – 4-ounce pieces
4 tbsp cream cheese
1/4 c Pepper jack cheese, shredded
2 tbsp green onion, chopped
4 to 8 pieces of bacon
Directions:
Step 1: Slice the chicken into 4 even cuts.
Step 2: Use a meat mallet to pound each slice to about 1/4-inch thick.
Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, add the chopped green onion, cream cheese, and pepper Jack cheese. Stir until well combined.
Step 4: Top each chicken slice with 1/4 of the cream cheese mixture.
Step 5: Roll each chicken breast. Make sure that the cream cheese mixture stays in the middle.
Step 6: Wrap each chicken breast with 2 slices of bacon. Use a toothpick to seal it.
Step 7: Arrange them onto a baking sheet.
Step 8: Prepare the oven and preheat to 190 degrees C or 375 degrees F.
Step 9: Place the baking sheet inside the preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes.
Step 10: Broil for another 3 minutes or until the top turns golden brown and crispy.
