Ingredients:
1/4 cup flour
3 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 cups milk
Add a pinch of nutmeg
Fresh minced parsley
Directions:
Place the potatoes and water in a large saucepan on the stove. Turn the heat up to medium. Let the water boil.
The potatoes should be cooked for approximately 15 minutes, or until they are soft.
Place another pan on the stove, and heat the water to medium.
Mix butter with water and let it melt.
Add flour, nutmeg and salt. Mix until well combined.
Mix in a small amount of milk at a time. Stir until everything is well combined.
Let the mixture boil for a few minutes and then let it thicken.
Drain the potatoes and place them on a plate.
Add the sauce to the potatoes. Mix until well coated.
Garnish the dish with freshly chopped parsley.
Serve and enjoy
Notes:
While you are cooking the potatoes, add a sweet onion. They will have a pleasant taste.
