1/2 c salted butter
3/4 c granulated sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened Dutch-process cocoa powder
3 large Eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
Ganache
1 c semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 c heavy cream
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 190 degrees C or 375 degrees F.
Step 2: Apply cooking spray in a 9-inch round cake pan and line it with parchment paper.
Step 3: Place the chocolate chips inside the microwave and heat them until melted completely.
Step 4: Add the cocoa powder, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract into the melted chocolate. Stir until well mixed.
Step 5: Transfer the mixture into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
Step 6: Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 25 minutes.
Step 7: Remove from the oven and allow it to cool at room temperature.
Step 8: Transfer the cake onto a serving plate.
Step 9: Melt the chocolate chips inside the microwave.
Step 10: Add the hot cream into the chocolate chips and stir until well blended.
Step 11: Pour the ganache on top of the cake and spread it evenly.
Step 12: Allow the ganache to cool for a few minutes.
