1⁄2 c milk

3 -3 1⁄2 c dry quick-cooking oats (NOT old-fashioned oats)
2 tsp vanilla
2 c sugar
Directions:
In a saucepan, add butter, sugar, cocoa, and milk.
Place the saucepan on the stove and turn the heat to medium. Stir everything until well blended, then allow the mixture to boil for 40 seconds. Remove the pan from the heat.
Add peanut butter and stir until well blended.
Add vanilla and oats, then stir again until well blended.
Spoon the mixture and drop each onto wax paper. Arrange them in a single layer.
Place the wax paper inside the fridge and allow the cookies to chill until fully set. You can also let them rest at room temperature if you want.
