All you need are 5 main ingredients for these awesome Stuffed Greek Turkey Burgers! You will surely enjoy this in less than an hour. You can cook them in the skillet or on the grill. Whatever works perfectly well. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 large Egg
½ c chopped sun-dried tomatoes
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ c crumbled feta
3 c (loosely packed) fresh spinach
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 pound 97% lean turkey burger
½ teaspoon oregano
½ teaspoon dried basil
½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
½ teaspoon ground pepper
Directions:
Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
Add oil and allow it to become hot.
Add the minced garlic and spinach, then sauté for 3 minutes or until aromatic and wilted. Transfer them onto a clean plate.
Place the ground turkey into a large mixing bowl, then top it with the spices. Toss until well coated.
Add the spinach, crumbled feta cheese, egg, and sun-dried tomatoes. Use your clean hands to mix everything until well incorporated.
Form 6 patties out of the meat mixture.
Put the burger patties onto a baking sheet, then place them inside the fridge to chill for at least 30 minutes.
Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add a bit of oil and allow it to become hot.
Add the patties, then cook each side for about 5 minutes or until done.
Transfer onto a clean plate and allow them to rest for at least 3 minutes.
Serve on buns. Enjoy!
Note:
You can grill these patties as well if you want.
