Ingredients:
3 Eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 c chopped ham
3/4 c almond flour
1 1/2 c shredded cheddar
1/4 c jalapeño, seeded and chopped
3 oz. cream cheese, softened
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Line a baking sheet with silicone.
In a mixing bowl, add cream cheese and ham slices. Stir until well blended.
Add eggs, baking powder, almond flour, shredded cheese, and chopped jalapeno. Stir until combined and it forms into a thick dough.
Place the dough inside the fridge to chill for at least 15 minutes.
Form small portions of the dough, then put them onto the prepared baking sheet.
Place the baking sheet inside the preheated oven and bake the bites for about 15 to 18 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
Remove the bites from the oven and allow them to rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
Serve and enjoy!
Notes:
You can use leftover ham, ham steak, deli ham, or country ham for this recipe.
I suggest you use brick-style cream cheese for this recipe.
I also suggest you use almond flour instead of different flour.
Place any leftovers in an airtight container, then place them inside the fridge or freezer. They can last up to 3 months.
Reheat in the microwave for a few minutes.
