If you are having guests over and can’t decide what to make, then this recipe might help! This Easy Macaroni Salad is simply the best! Pair it with grilled dishes, and you have yourself a meal to remember! Ready in less than 30 minutes, this is perfect for a quick and easy salad to serve! Also, the ingredients are pretty cheap. You can say that it is very budget-friendly!
Ingredients:
1 c frozen peas
1/2 c mayo
1 pound elbow macaroni
6 ounces cheddar cheese, cubed
4 celery stalks, diced
1/2 red onion minced
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
2 tbsp sugar
1/4 c apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
1/4 c fresh dill
Directions:
Place a large pot with water on the stove and turn the heat to high. Allow the water to boil.
Add the elbow macaroni, then cook for a few minutes, according to the package instructions. Drain and rinse with cold water to top the cooking process.
Add the cooked pasta into a large bowl together with celery, peas, bell pepper, cubed cheese, and onion. Toss everything until well combined.
In another mixing bowl, add Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, salt, pepper, apple cider vinegar, sugar, and dill. Stir everything until well blended.
Add the mixture on top of the pasta mixture, then toss everything until well mixed.
Wrap the entire bowl with plastic, then place it inside the fridge. Allow the Easy Macaroni Salad to chill for about an hour or more.
Serve chilled and enjoy!
