Ingredients:
1 1/2 c sharp cheddar
2 c of whole milk
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
4–5 pounds of Yukon gold potatoes
1/2 c Parmesan
2 teaspoons Tastefully Simple’s Rustic Herb
3 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon Tastefully Simple’s Garlic
3 tablespoons flour
1 tablespoon Tastefully Simple’s Onion
1 c chicken broth
Directions:
Peel the potatoes, then slice each into 1/8-inch thin cuts.
Prepare the oven and preheat to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.
Place a saucepan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add butter and allow it to melt.
Add the flour, then whisk and cook for a few minutes until well blended with the melted butter.
Add the rest of the ingredients aside from the cheese. Stir until well blended and simmer the sauce for a few minutes until the texture becomes thick.
Apply cooking spray to a baking dish.
Arrange 1/2 of the potatoes into the prepared baking dish.
Pour 1/2 of the cream cheese sauce over the potatoes.
Sprinkle 1 cup of the cheddar and Parmesan cheese over the potatoes. Repeat the process with the rest of the potatoes, cream cheese sauce, and cheeses.
Cover the baking dish with aluminium foil.
Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes.
Remove the cover, then bake for 30 minutes more or until the top turns golden brown.
Remove from the oven and allow it to rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
Serve and enjoy!
