Ingredients:
⅓ c brown sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
⅔ c white sugar
½ c butter softened
2 Eggs
1 ½ tsp vanilla extract
1 ½ c all-purpose flour
1 ¾ tsp baking powder
½ c milk
1 apple, peeled and chopped
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Apply cooking spray and sprinkle flour in a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
Step 3: In a mixing bowl, add cinnamon and brown sugar. Whisk until well mixed.
Step 4: In another mixing bowl, add butter and white sugar. Beat until well mixed.
Step 5: Add eggs gradually and beat every addition.
Step 6: Add vanilla extract and stir until well blended.
Step 7: In another mixing bowl, add baking powder and flour. Whisk until well mixed.
Step 8: Transfer the flour mixture into the butter mixture and stir until well mixed.
Step 9: Add milk and stir until well mixed.
Step 10: Spread 1/2 of the batter into the prepared pan, then top it with 1/2 of the apples together with 1/2 of the brown sugar mixture.
Step 11: Repeat the process to the rest of the ingredients.
Step 12: Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserting it in the middle.
Step 13: Remove from the oven and let it sit at room temperature to cool.
Step 14: Serve and enjoy!
