Ingredients:
1 1/2 tbsp olive oil
1.5 lbs (about 6 chicken thighs) boneless skinless chicken thighs (you can also use chicken breasts)
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp chilli powder
salt and fresh ground pepper, to taste
1 tbsp butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 c low sodium chicken broth (you can also use wine or juice)
fresh chopped parsley for garnish
Directions:
Season with garlic powder, onion powder, chilli powder, salt, and pepper on the chicken thighs.
Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add oil and allow it to become hot.
Add the chicken thighs and cook each side for about 5 minutes or until they turn brown.
Add butter and allow it to melt.
Add the minced garlic and saute until aromatic.
Add the chicken broth and stir until well mixed. Scrape the bottom of the skillet to get the brown bits. Cook for 1 more minute.
Remove the skillet from the heat and sprinkle freshly chopped parsley on top.
Serve and enjoy!
Notes:
Make sure to use a skillet large enough to fit the ingredients.
Cook the chicken thighs undisturbed.
Feel free to use chicken breasts for this recipe.
