This easy pressure cooker soup is stuffed with vegetable and sausage. Super comforting and loaded with amazing flavours that you can’t say no to. A one-pot meal that has become my family’s favourite in an instant. Simple and creamy soup that has a rich broth, chunky carrots, cabbage, and a lot more!

Ingredients
1 medium head cabbage (roughly cut)
1 c water or chicken broth (the cabbage will produce more liquid as it cooks)
1 pkg your favourite smoked sausage, cut into 1-inch pieces
4 – 5 medium potatoes (peeling optional) cut into 1 ½-inch cube
1 medium onion, halved and then cut into 1/2-inch slices
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 stick butter or margarine
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
2 tsp garlic salt with parsley (to taste)
2 tsp black pepper (to taste)
How to make Instant Pot Cabbage, Sausage and Potato Soup
Step 1: Combine the garlic, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper in a small mixing bowl until incorporated.
Step 2: Add the cabbage to the bottom of a pressure cooker pot liner. Submerge in water.
Step 3: Drop 4 tbsp butter on top of the cabbage and season with a tsp of the spice mixture.
Step 4: And add in the smoked sausage, minced garlic, onion followed by the potatoes.
Step 5: Sprinkle over the remaining spice mixture and another 4 tbsp butter.
Step 6: Cover and seal the pressure cooker and cook for about 8 minutes.
