If you are looking for a quick and easy recipe to try today, then you should consider this Cheesy Broccoli Stuffed Chicken Breast! Packed with the cheesy-broccoli mixture and baked in the oven. What’s not to like? This was the best recipe I’ve tried this week!
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
1 c Small chopped broccoli florets
¼ c Cream Cheese
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder, divided
1 tablespoon Olive Oil
1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts or 4 large breasts
½ teaspoon Paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 c Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 190 degrees C or 375 degrees F.
Put the chicken breasts onto a cutting board, then make a pocket-like slice in the middle of each chicken.
Sprinkle paprika, Italian seasoning, pepper, and salt over the chicken breasts. Rub each to coat.
Add cream cheese, broccoli, shredded cheese, salt, pepper, and garlic powder into a large bowl. Whisk everything until well incorporated.
Stuff each chicken breast with the mixture, then use toothpicks to secure it.
Place a large oven-safe skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
Add oil and allow it to become hot.
Add the chicken breasts into the hot skillet, then sear each side for about 3 minutes. Remove from the heat.
Place the skillet in the preheated oven and bake the chicken for about 15 to 17 minutes.
Serve and enjoy!
Notes:
Place any leftovers in an airtight container, then place them in the fridge. They can last up to 5 days or 3 months in the freezer.
Reheat the leftovers in the microwave for a few minutes before serving again.
