Ingredients:
1 c uncooked rice
½ tsp paprika
1 medium diced onion
2 Eggs
3 cloves garlic
1 pound of ground meat
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 head of cabbage
1 jar tomato sauce
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
Directions:
Slice about ¼ inch from the bottom part of the cabbage.
Place a large pot with water on the stove and turn the heat to high. Allow the water to boil.
Add the whole cabbage into the boiling water, then cook for 2 minutes. Repeat the process with the rest of the cabbage heads.
Add ground pork, uncooked rice, ground beef, onion, ¼ cup tomato sauce, salt, pepper, and garlic powder into a large mixing bowl. Stir everything until well incorporated.
Add egg and stir again until well blended.
In a separate mixing bowl, add Worcestershire sauce, tomato sauce, and paprika. Stir until well mixed.
Add ¼ cup of the meat mixture to the middle of each cabbage leaf, then roll it up. It should look like a burrito. Repeat the process with the rest of the meat mixture and cabbage leaves.
Add some of the sauce into a slow cooker and spread it evenly to cover the bottom.
Add the cabbage rolls into the prepared slow cooker. Make sure to leave a small space between each roll.
In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients for the sauce and stir until well blended.
Pour the sauce on top of the cabbage rolls and make sure to cover them fully.
Cover and seal the slow cooker, then cook the cabbage rolls for about 4 hours on a high setting or 8 hours on a low setting.
