Ingredients:
2 cans (14.5 oz. each) diced tomatoes
1 clove garlic, minced
1 large onion, chopped
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
dash nutmeg
1 tbsp cider vinegar or wine vinegar
1 1/2 to 2 lbs. lean ground beef
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp sea salt
1 small cabbage, chopped
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tbsp olive oil
Directions:
Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add olive oil and allow it to become hot.
Add the ground beef, then cook until crumbly and brown.
Add the onion, then sauté until soft.
Add the garlic and sauté until aromatic. Discard any excess fat.
Add the tomatoes, nutmeg, chopped cabbage, vinegar, tomato sauce, salt, and pepper. Sauté for a few minutes and allow the mixture to boil.
Cover the skillet and simmer everything for about 20 to 30 minutes or until done.
Remove from the heat.
Serve right away and enjoy!
