Simple yet very delicious! This Honey Butter Skillet Corn is ready in just 15 minutes! This is the best side dish you will ever serve; I’m telling you! Corn, cream cheese, honey, and butter, what’s not to like? Don’t wait another minute not knowing how awesome this is! I love making this because it’s our favorite! You can never go wrong with this recipe. All you need to do is to follow these simple steps, and you are good to go. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
2 tbsp honey
1/4 tsp salt
2 oz. cream cheese, cut into chunks
2 tbsp butter I use salted
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 bag (16 ounces) of frozen corn
Directions:
Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
Add butter and allow it to melt.
Add honey, into the hot skillet with the melted butter, then stir until well blended.
Add the frozen corn, then stir again until well combined. Cook for about 5 to 8 minutes or until completely cooked.
Add the cream cheese, salt, and pepper. Stir everything until well blended. Cook for about 3 to 5 more minutes.
Serve right away and enjoy!
Notes:
Place any leftovers in an airtight container, then place them inside the fridge. They can last for a few minutes.
If you don’t want to add salt, I suggest you use salted butter for this recipe.
I suggest using Gold and White corn for this, but if you want, you can use frozen corn.
These 2 types of corn are perfect for this recipe. Sweet yellow corn or white corn.
Make sure to measure the cream cheese to only about 2 ounces.
