These heavenly treats are my ultimate comfort food! These Blended Baked Oats will surely bring a big smile to your face today, I’m telling you! Ingredients:
1 Egg
½ c rolled or quick oats
½ ripe banana
1/4 c unsweetened almond milk
¼ tsp baking powder
1 tbsp peanut butter*
1 tbsp maple syrup, I used monk fruit maple syrup*
2 tbsp chocolate chips, I used Lily’s
Pinch of cinnamon
optional toppings: more peanut butter for drizzling, extra maple syrup, and a splash of milk
Pinch of sea salt
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
In a blender, add all the ingredients aside from the chocolate chips. Pulse until well mixed.
Add 2 tbsp of chocolate chips and stir until well mixed.
Apply cooking spray in a baking dish.
Transfer the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
Scatter the chocolate chips over the batter.
Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserting it in the middle.
Remove from the oven, then drizzle maple syrup, milk, and peanut butter on top.
Serve and enjoy!
Notes:
Feel free to use apple sauce instead of a banana.
Feel free to use honey or coconut nectar instead of maple syrup.
You can use your favourite brand of peanut butter for this recipe.
