These little treats were Grandma’s recipe! I loved them since I was just a young fellow. Oh, man, you should have seen my Grams worked around the kitchen. She was a wizard! Anyway, this recipe is just one of those who I truly love. My kids could not get enough of these heavenly treats! By the way, feel free to add more ingredients if you prefer. Ingredients:
1/4 c butter
1 bag large marshmallows APPROXIMATELY 40 MARSHMALLOWS
6 c Rice Krispies
Red & Yellow Liquid Food Coloring
Mini Rolos
Green M&M’s
1/4 c cooking oil or melted butter in a small mixing bowl
Directions:
Step 1: Place a large pot on the stove and turn the heat to low.
Step 2: Add the butter and allow it to melt.
Step 3: Add the marshmallows. Stir and cook until well mixed and the marshmallows are melted completely.
Step 4: Remove the pot from the heat and add yellow and red food colouring. Stir until well mixed.
Step 5: Add the Rice Krispies and stir until well mixed.
Step 6: Rub oil all over your hands and form small balls out of the Rice Krispie mixture.
Step 7: Arrange the balls onto parchment paper.
Step 8: Press 1 Mini Roll on top of every pumpkin.
Step 9: Let them sit at room temperature to cool.
Step 10: Serve and enjoy.
