This easy and quick casserole is made for everybody. Perfect for busy days and your picky eaters. A delicious budget-friendly meal that will keep your hungry tummies satisfied. Made with four main ingredients, this Hamburger Casserole is a must! Enjoy pure goodness in every bite!
Ingredients
1 (1 pound) box medium pasta shells
1 pound ground beef
2 (10-ounces) cans tomato soup
2 c shredded cheddar
1 c shredded mozzarella
1/2 c water
garlic, salt & pepper to taste
How to make 4 Ingredient Hamburger Casserole (Quick & Easy)
Step 1: Cook the pasta following the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Step 2: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 375 degrees.
Step 3: Ready a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Grease and set aside.
Step 4: Place the ground beef in a large skillet. Season with garlic paprika, salt, and pepper, or your favourite seasoning. Cook, breaking the ground pork until brown.
Step 5: Add the cooked pasta into the skillet along with tomato soup, half a cup of water, and half of the cheese. Stir and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes over medium heat.
Step 6: When done, transfer the mixture into the prepared dish and top with the rest of the cheese.
Step 7: Use foil to cover the dish. Place inside the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes. Remove the cover and bake for another 10 minutes. In the last 2 to 3 minutes, broil to brown the cheese.
Step 8: Remove from the oven and serve immediately. For any leftovers, store them in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Notes:
You can use 100% cheddar cheese instead of mozzarella. I prefer mozzarella though as it makes the cheese stingy.
In the beef mixture, you can add diced onion or powder if desired.
